“As a healer it is often hard to rely on others to help me dig deep into my past traumas, but Jessi created a sacred space that is truly safe and spent hours listening to my story, allowing me the time to share my pain, my fears, and my shame without judgement. I felt comfortable telling her the darkest secrets that I had never shared with another soul and for that I will be eternally grateful. Jessi has a way of getting to the heart of what is buried without you even realizing that is what she is doing. She nurtures you with good food and many warm hugs. The casting process was an amazing experience as well. It was incredible to watch her work her magic over the weeks she created the sculpture and watch it come to life.”

“I think this was really good to do for the same reasons I think therapy is good. You get to talk about what it is you are going through. You get the opportunity then to realize you are not alone, you are not the only person who feels like this. This is normal to feel this way. Normal to have these kinds of reactions. It’s good.”

“We hold a lot in our bodies. We hold a lot in our lives. And we all have a lot of experiences and stuff so..and we don’t talk about it. I think we should talk about these things more. We should make that the norm, normalize, because then you feel less lonely. You understand, you have more empathy when you realize “oh, all these people have gone through this stuff too” … also the more we talk about it the more that maybe people can seek help and not perpetuate the cycles…you have to break the cycle in order for the future generations to be able to heal. This experience helps with that. “

KIM - The Shaman

“When I look at my sculpture I am reminded of how far I have come in my life in overcoming my traumas. Jessi created a piece that tells my story, good and bad, in such a way that I can reflect on my past with a sense of peace and gratitude.”

“Jessi is a treasure. From start to finish she gives you the love and support you need through the process. She has one of the purest healer’s hearts I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her approach through the BIO process combines the healing aspects of Reiki and diving deep into your story to help you overcome the traumas that cause you to have a negative body image and externalize it through a beautiful piece of art that reflects the healing that occurs to that part of the body as you release the pain you’ve held there.”

Tracy - The Voice

“It really is a reflection of me. Other people might like it as well, but I don’t think they’d be able to appreciate it as much as I do. It’s all the stuff that we talked about. It’s all the stuff that I said I like or aspire to or feel. It’s really cool that it’s so personal like that.”

“I love it! You asked me a lot about colors and what I thought stuff was in color. I’d never thought about that before. It’s so funny because, looking at it, I don’t remember what color I said was what, but all the colors that are on it, I love. This is totally a color palette that speaks to me.”

“Like the gold, the red jewel, going up my mouth up into my third eye area with the lotus - it’s so profound. We were talking about how my Buddhist practice helped change me, gave me my voice. How people told me I’m too loud for my life. It’s so cool. It’s like the artistic version of me being awakened.”

“It’s beautiful. You made me beautiful. I don’t always see myself that way.”
